  • 10 Oct: Families for life - Jason Wong

    Jason Wong is the Chairman of the Board of Focus of the Family Singapore. He was formerly a Senior Director with the Ministry of Social and Family Development. He founded the Yellow Ribbon Project in 2004 and the Dads for Life movement in 2009. Join us for this special season as Jason shared on this important topic of family!

  • 17 Oct: Light in the marketplace - Neo Ban Seng

    Neo Ban Seng’s ministry passion is in equipping fellow Christians for faithful living at the workplace. He is the Managing Director of KAPPS Consulting, and a former Partner of a Big Four accounting & advisory firm. An elder at The House of Prayer, Ban Seng is author of a book, Worship @ Work. He received his Master of Arts (Theological Studies) from Regent College, Vancouver. Ban Seng is married to Soon Lee, and their son Marc is married to Linda.

  • 24 Oct: When local becomes global - Mercy Ho

    Before becoming a full-time staff with Youth With A Mission Singapore in 2014, Mercy Ho spent 12 years in the marketplace in sales and business development.  Mercy currently serves in the National Leadership Circle of YWAM Singapore and as CEO of Mercy Centre Ltd, a charity that serves the poor, needy, broken and marginalised. Mercy's heartbeat is to see the poor and marginalised reached their fullest potential in Christ and to see all generations embrace and experience the joy and call of obedience to know God and make Him known.

    Reaching the least, the last and the lost from your doorstep to the nations.

    As part of the Great Commission to go make disciples of all nations, we live out alongside the first commandment, the second commandment that tells us to love our neighbour as we love ourselves? 

    Jesus sat with the outcasts, ate with the downtrodden of society, befriended those who no one dared to touch and laid down His rights to love people from every background, all status and every nation. What if we go and do likewise?

  • 31 Oct: Christianity in the Marketplace of Ideas - Deacon Jesse Chin

    Deacon Jesse Chin carries a passion to strengthen the faith and evangelism of Christians through apologetics, which is the use of reason, logic, and evidence in defense of the truths of Christianity. He has a Masters in Christian Apologetics from Biola University and is the director of Reasonable Faith Singapore, an apologetics ministry featuring the work of Dr William Lane Craig, a renowned philosopher and apologist. Jesse is married with three children.

  • 7 Nov: Impacting the Marketplace - Elder Raymond Lim

    Elder Raymond Lim is Chairman of the COSB Board and an Elder in the church. He is focused on the Restore ministry of the church which is to repair and restore broken lives through the power of the Holy Spirit. He is a member of Gatekeepers Singapore, a Spirit-filled marketplace ministry. Prior to retirement in 2011, Raymond had 23 years of experience as Vice-president for Citibank’s Consumer Banking Group. He has held various senior country and regional leadership roles in Singapore, Philippines, Poland, Turkey, Brussels and China. You can read more about Raymond’s story here.

  • 4 Nov: Salt & light in social media - Pastor Edric Sng

    Pastor Edric Sng is the Editor of and, faith-based websites for digital discipleship and outreach to a digital generation. He previously built and ran the digital newsrooms at Mediacorp’s Channel NewsAsia and the TODAY newspaper. He was also the editor of a scuba diving magazine. Edric is a father to four, and a husband to one.

  • 21 Nov: Salt & Light in our community - Elder Wong Mun Chiang

    Elder Wong Mun Chiang is a registered Pharmacist and a businessman. He serves as an Elder of Church of Singapore (Balestier) and pastors the Mandarin Service. Elder Mun Chiang is also an active grassroots leader. Uniquely he has served two terms in the People’s Action Party Headquarters Executive Committee. Elder Mun Chiang is happily married with 2 daughters.
